Ringing Ensembles

We have a variety of ensemble groups for ringers of all ages.  All ensembles are directed by Kay Cook and work to reach the highest quality of performance while learning handbell techniques, teamwork skills, and leadership skills. Contact us if you are interested in auditioning for any of our premiere ensembles.

Desert Bells

Bronzeworks Encore is an adult high profile ensemble demonstrating musical expertise and stage presence.  Qualifications for membership include; (1) the ability to sight-read with ease, (2) a willingness to commit time and effort to rehearsal and concert schedules; (3) the understanding that teamwork and responsibility are synonymous with success.

Chaparral Bells

Chaparral Bells is the entry-level ensemble. Musicians need not be experienced, but will be accepted by interview and become members for the purpose of (1) learning handbell technique, (2) acquiring ensemble playing skills, (3) and pursuing performance level musicianship. Performances may include concerts for parents and public concerts in conjunction with one of the other choirs.  Members of Chaparral Bells have an opportunity to advance to the Bronzeworks choir through an audtion with Kay Cook.

Bronzeworks

Bronzeworks is a high-profile ensemble demonstrating musical expertise and mature stage presence.  Qualifications for membership include (1) the ability to sight-read with ease, (2) a willingness to commit time and effort to rehearsal and concert schedules, (3) the understanding that teamwork and responsibility are synonymous with success.  Accomplished musicians have a high commitment of the priority of participation in Bronzeworks. Bronzeworks will perform concerts in private and public venues.  The group has a history of collaboration with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Phoenix Symphony Guild. In addition, they have often performed for the prestigious Fiesta Bowl Governor's Reception.
